8Welfare Praying For Religious Freedom In Vietnam at Garden Grove Community Center, Garden Grove, California
Sunday November 16, 2003:
The Organizing Committee of the Welfare Praying welcomed H.I.H. Prince Regent NGUYEN-PHUC Buu Chanh, H.I.H. Princess Buu Phan Lien and Their Imperial Delegation at the Welfare Praying For Religious Freedom In Vietnam at Garden Grove Community Center, Garden Grove, CA at 1:00 PM on Sunday November 16, 2003. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee is the Most Venerable Thuong Toa Thich Nguyen Tri. The Vice Chairmen are the Most Venerable Thuong Toa Thich Minh Dung, Thuong Toa Nguyen Sieu, Thuong Toa Thich Tri Lang, Thuong Toa Thich Van Dam.

After the Reverend-Representatives of National Religions' speeches, only H.I.H. Prince Regent NGUYEN-PHUC Buu Chanh (no the other ones because of the limit time of Agenda) delivered a short speech in 10 minutes about the savage Communist Oppressions on the Buddhist clergy and all other religions in Vietnam. He said that before going to the collapse, the Communist System and Authorities launched a cruel oppression on everybody who is peacefully fighting  for Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights.  The Supreme Venerable Hoa Thuong Thich Huyen Quang, Hoa Thuong Thich Quang Do, Hoa Thuong Thich Thien Hanh, Thuong Toa Thich Thien Sieu and etc have been on hunger strike until death. The Buddhist Venerable and Buddhist Members have struggled vigorously and directly against the Communist Bac Bo Phu Leadership and Communist System about their rude violations on the Freedom of Religions, Democracy and Human Rights that the Communist Leaders and their Communist Constitution had solemnly announced along with the United Nations Charters their legal execution. Beside the Buddhist Religion, like a wounded and mad animal, the Communists have offensively oppressed the Catholic, Protestant, Cao Dai and Buddhist Hoa Hao Religions everywhere in the country from North to South, especially the Protestants on the Central Highland of Vietnam and the Buddhist Hoa Hao in the Western Provinces of Vietnam. The Communist oppressions have been condemned everywhere in the world. They hurt the Conscience of Humankind. They must be terminated, otherwise the Communist Regime must be ended on the spot toward the Conscience of Humankind.

H.I.H. Prince Regent's Speech has been briefly reported on the two local televisions of Southern California. The Most Venerable Hoa Thuong Thich Giac Luong has highly appreciated and thank H.I.H. Prince Regent's speech and His Nationalist Standpoint against the Communist violations on the basic human rights, Freedom and Democracy on the Radio Station in the Southern California.
